Global warming is a serious issue in the world today and being aware of the causes of global warming is crucial. We have heard Al Gore talk about it as well as plenty of others, but there are still so many people out there who are just not sure what global warming is all about. People are not sure what all the fuss is about. It is important to be aware of environmental issues in the world today, and the same goes for global warming. [...] Over the last hundred years or so, many significant changes in the climate have been recorded, which shows a trend of rising global mean temperature, i. e. global warming, rising sea levels, Arctic shrinkage, Arctic methane release, emission of global carbon from permafrost areas, and Arctic methane release in coastal residues. [...] The fight against global warming is a full-scale war, with two strong armies poised for battle on either side. There are minor skirmishes and engagements, attacks and counter-attacks, strategies and counter-strategies, deceptions, victories and defeats. But above all, there is the fog of war – a cloud of disinformation that helps both the armies. [...] Global warming is supposed to increase the severity and frequency of tropical storms.
