Eco friendly cleaning is not only helping the environment from toxic chemicals but also keep your home as beautiful as it can be. If you can’t pronounce the ingredients on the back that might be an indication of harmful chemicals so move on. Also make sure that the label on the “eco friendly” product has a seal of organic certification on it by the USDA. Now because the market, more then ever before, has so many cleaning products it might be difficult to regulate every single thing out there. Read, read, and read again what ingredients are in the bottle. Red flag ingredients include chlorine, phosphates, phthalates, glycol ethers, and ammonia.

It might seem like a hassle trying to figure out what cleaning products are actually eco friendly safe, but trust me it’s worth the extra time put in. You don’t want to be exposed to chemicals you don’t have to be just so you cherry wood floor has a nice shine to it. Eco friendly cleaning should be on your list of priorities.
