Organic clothing is beneficial to the entire planet, because it is made from organic cotton, untreated hemp and other fabrics without pesticides, fertilizers or other chemicals that damage the environment. By using them in our everyday life we contribute to the health of the world just as when we eat organic foods, walk or ride a bicycle instead of using a car, and limit use of plastics.

Babies and children’s organic clothing is especially beneficial for the health, well being, and happiness of your infant, toddler, or small child. The clothing is very soft which reduces skin rashes and irritations caused by harsh fabrics with chemicals used in manufacturing of non-organic clothing. Your child’s tender skin will not be as irritated; therefore he/she will be happier and less irritable. Most organic children’s clothing is made to grow with the child with expandable straps and closures, effectively lasting longer!

Organic cotton clothes for babies and children are colorful, functional, sturdily constructed and sized to accommodate both shrinkage of the fabric, as well as the growth of the child. From use in the layette to infant and toddler they are colorful and “cute” and come in various sizes. They include rompers, sun suits, dresses, jackets, hats, and two-piece sets.

Organic receiving blankets, towels and bedding are important to the health of our children especially when the exposure to these items is close and for extended periods of time. Lotions, soaps, diapers, feeding utensils, and bottles are also available in organic, pesticide free items available for sale online and in stores.

When compared with the ordinarily available non-organic children’s clothing, you may think that organic is too expensive. Isn’t it worth the few extra dollars to ensure you baby these eco-friendly clothes which are more comfortable, reduce irritation, and are manufactured to grow with the child. Due to no chemicals in organic clothing, there is no pollution of the ground water with laundering. Also consider that at end of their usable life, when they need to be disposed of, they will not pollute the environment.
